A new range of tank lids offering best in class performance and highly competitive pricing have been introduced by Hypro, the leading industrial spray nozzle, pump and component manufacturer. ProCap tank lids are constructed from polypropylene to withstand harsh chemicals and UV rays. They are light, durable and provide safe and secure coverage for a wide range of different tank styles.

The range is offered in 6 inch, 8 inch, 12 inch and 16 inch diameters to fit common standard tank openings. Closure options include male and female threaded closures, to fit existing threads, together with lid and ring combinations featuring the Duralok twist and lock system. A hinged option is offered with 180 deg opening for ease of access and a lockable hasp for added security. Gaskets are available if required where a tight seal is required. Labyrinth breathers offer exceptional venting performance allowing tanks to be filled and emptied rapidly and safely with lids in place. Bullet or spring breathers and solid lids are also available.

Hypro have recently installed a rapid prototyping machine that is the first of its kind to be installed in the UK spray industry. Accurate to 10 microns resolution, the machine allows new product designs to be assessed for feasibility and function, without the need for laborious machining solids or less precise 3D modelling techniques.

According to Trevor Swan, Hypro's Principal Engineer,

'This computer aided modelling device is highly appropriate for the precision with which we need to make spray nozzles. Being able to accurately represent the nozzle characteristics at an early stage of development is invaluable to testing and refining a new design and cuts the time to completion right down.

The prototypes we produce can be fitted to a sprayer, which means that we can quickly translate design to practice. Our precision droplet analyser can then be used to work out if the droplet and spray pattern are as we planned. We can easily go through several refinements if necessary, learning more each time'.

Hypro announce new range of High Pressure Wash Nozzles that are the ideal for car washing and all other high pressure washing operations such as hard surface cleaning, vehicle washing, conveyor washing, building disinfection, drain cleaning, graffiti removal, food processing and label removal operations.

The nozzle has designed with to create a high impact spray Even Spray pattern for highly effective and efficient washing operations using the minimum water and pump power. Spray impact  trials have shown a 15% impact improvement for this high performance nozzle design compared to other leading brands.

The most popular angles 0°, 15° 25° and 40° spray angles in popular flow rates are available from stock and others can be made to order (all spray angles are quoted at 10 bar).

Hypro High Pressure Nozzles are offered as a one piece design with ¼” or ⅛” BSP or NPT male pipe thread. The hex body  makes for fast fitting without the risk of distortion of the orifice. Part numbers are permanently etched on the nozzle face for ease of identification when fitted in spraying location.
